When registering, if your child played in the Spring 2010, you will register as a Returning player. If your child did not play, please register as a New player.
When you're ready to begin, please click on the Registration button at the top of this page.
Birth Certificates:
When you register at WGFC for the first time, you will need to provide a copy of the player's birth certificate. Hospital, baptismal or other religious certificates are not acceptable. There are 3 ways to provide a copy of the player's birth certificate.
1. You can download directly to your child's registration.
2. Bring a copy to the Parent's meeting.
3. Mail to P.O. Box 1361, Douglasville, Georgia 30133
Playing Up:
Players who demonstrate exceptional skills in their own age group may request to play up one age group. A written request must be submitted by the parent/guardian during the season to either the Micro Director or the Upper Rec. Director. Players with an August birth date may play up one age group if requested on their registration form by their parent/guardian. No additional approval is required.
Cancellation/Refund Policy:
Recreational players, WGFC encourages players to register early to guarantee them a spot on the team for the upcoming season. If a player requests to withdraw their registration anytime between registration and before the first practice, WGFC will refund all of the registration fee. If a player requests to withdraw their registration anytime between registration and after the first practice but before the first game, WGFC will refund the registration fee less $25.00. There will be NO refunds after the first game of the season. If you register late, the late fee is non-refundable.
Return Check Policy:
While at WGFC, if you have two (2) checks returned for non-sufficient funds (NSF), your check writing privileges will end. You will be permanently required to pay by Credit Card, Debit Card or Cash ONLY!!!
Equipment:
Every player must bring a ball to practice.
U5 - U8 needs a size 3 ball.
U10 - U12 needs a size 4 ball.
U13 - U19 needs a size 5 ball.
Every player must wear shin guards to all practices and games. Shin guards must be worn under the player's socks.
Players should wear cleated shoes that are designed for soccer. Please be aware that players are not allowed to play in baseball cleats or other cleated shoes that contain a toe cleat.
Each player should bring a water bottle to all games and practices. Players should put their names on their water bottle.
